The recent influx in members to our job focussed LinkedIn group seems to suggest that LinkedIn is becoming more and more popular amongst jobseekers and THE place to post your CV if you are looking for a new role.
(Our group networx recruitment has over a 1000 members and includes a vast array of job seekers including Fork Lift Truck Drivers, Graduates, Directors, Metallurgy specialists).
For the traditional head hunting approach, LinkedIn is undoubtedly a highly effective tool but for the vast majority of businesses, in order to capitalise on the true benefits that this platform can deliver requires significant time and investment.
networx have been using Linkedin now for just over 8 months and in that time have established a comprehensive network which is now used to highlight potential candidates for our clients vacancies. In the last month we have increased our exposure further with the purchase of the LinkedIn Corporate Recruiter Solution and dedicated Careers Page.
With just over 100 million members, the LinkedIn database is an extremely powerful tool and now all our clients can reap the benefits through our Sourcing & Response Management Service.
What does it mean for our clients?
All vacancies which are deemed suitable will be posted on LinkedIn. This generates a profile match which highlights potential candidates who may be suitable for the role as soon as the vacancy is posted. All members with the required skills will be sent an in mail (these normally cost $10 each!) and a direct link to your application.
In addition, we will also proactively search for candidates with your required skill set and communicate with them in the same manner.
Our highly skilled team will ensure that the vacancy title and content information are reflective of how a job seeker would search to ensure that vacancies can be through searches conducted using the JOBS tab.
What’s more is that the vacancy will also be promoted on the profiles of all candidates who Linkedin identify as appropriate in the ‘Jobs you may be interested in” section providing clients with even greater levels of exposure.
All this exposure will become standard for all clients who undertake our sourcing & response Management service and is used in addition to the wealth of online sourcing methods we undertake on behalf of our clients.
