According to an article in People Management yesterday, The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has announced that the UK labour market is showing positive signs and may well be recovering from the recent downward trend which was feared to put the labour market in reverse. The report, conducted by KPMG, revealed that staff placement, for both permanent and temporary workers, was at its highest level since last summer. The demand for staff had also been at its highest since June.
